Mike Miller
DVM, Owner, Medical Director

Read Bio

Dr. Miller was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended the University of California, Davis, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Agriculture. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. After graduation, he completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at North Carolina State University. He then joined Duluth Animal Hospital in 1994.

He enjoys keeping the clients, patients, and staff in the best of care! In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Miller enjoys fishing, reading, skiing, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Beth Niagro
DVM, MS

Dr. Beth Niagro joined Duluth Animal Hospital in 1997. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, where she also completed an internship. Dr. Niagro received her Master of Science degree in Applied Biology and Physiology from the University of South Carolina and began working at Duluth Animal Hospital back in 1997. Her veterinary special interests include ultrasonography and internal medicine.

At home, Dr. Niagro has an adorable Papillon named Coco Chanel. Her personal interests include reading, watching movies, and vacationing — especially to the beach!

Dr. Corby Holson
DVM

Dr. Corby Holson joined Duluth Animal Hospital in 2008. Born and raised in South Carolina, Dr. Holson received her Bachelor of Science degree from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine, where she received an award for excellence in small animal medicine and surgery, as well as the Avian Medicine Excellence Award.

Dr. Holson’s special interests include soft tissue surgery, behavior, and dermatology. She holds a certification in veterinary acupuncture and is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. At home, Dr. Holson is an avid runner and enjoys traveling and outdoor activities with her husband, David.

Dr. Candace Veteto
DVM

Dr. Candace graduated from the University of Georgia’s Veterinary School in 2016. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Kennesaw State University. She has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field, having worked at a small animal clinic since the age of 17. Dr. Candace enjoys the culture of small animal general practice where she can meet clients and their fur babies and provide preventative and wellness care, as well as treating chronic and acute sick conditions. She joined Duluth Animal Hospital in 2024.

Dr. Candace has been happily married to Jay for 17 years. They have two amazing children, Conner (13), and Maddie (7), with whom she spends most of her free time driving to and from various sports practices and games, and is their biggest fan. She also has two dogs, Cruz (a Golden Retriever and former hospital therapy dog) and Belle (Boston Terrier). She also enjoys reading mystery novels, going to Disney World, and singing in the church choir.

Dr. Michelle Hanenburg
DVM

Read Bio

Dr. Hanenburg joined Duluth Animal Hospital in 2024. Prior to veterinary school, she volunteered as a mentor for therapeutic horseback riding programs and worked in the Oncology Department of Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and completed an externship at an emergency hospital in Virginia. She practiced for 8 years in Virginia before moving to Georgia to be closer to family.

In her free time, Dr. Hanenburg is an artist who enjoys drawing and painting. At home, she has a Cairn Terrier named Snickers.
