When you’re away, your pet deserves a place that feels like home. At Duluth Animal Hospital, we provide safe, loving, and comfortable boarding in our newly renovated, climate-controlled facility — 365 days a year.
What We Offer

- Blankets, pillows, and bedding provided
You’re welcome to bring your pet’s blanket (please no beds), food (especially for special diets), and medications. We also offer our own food at no extra charge.
Feline Boarding Accommodations
Cats enjoy a separate, peaceful ward featuring:
- Natural skylight lighting
- Kitty condos and cozy bedding
- Litter boxes, food/water dishes, toys, and blankets included
Feline Boarding Requirements
Cats must be up-to-date on:
- Rabies
- FVRCP
Vaccinations can be updated during their stay if needed.
Medical Boarding
Have a pet with special medical needs?
We offer medical boarding with skilled care for pets with:
- Diabetes (including insulin administration)
- Chronic or acute medical conditions
Our team will monitor your pet closely and administer medications as needed.
Please note: Medical boarding has separate pricing.
Boarding Drop-Off & Pick-Up Hours
Drop-Off Times:
- Monday – Friday: starting at 7:00 AM
- Saturday: starting at 8:00 AM
Pick-Up Times:
- Monday – Friday: until 5:30 PM
- Saturday: until 12:30 PM
Doggy Daycare Services
Need a place for your pet to stay for just the day?
We offer daycare services — perfect when:
- You’re hosting guests
- Running errands
- Having home repairs
- Or just need your pup out of the house for the day
Daycare is available Monday through Saturday. No overnight stay required.
Spa Services for Pets
Help your pet look and feel their best!
Available In-House Services:
- Baths & blowouts
- Brush-outs
- Nail trims and dremeling
- Ear cleaning
- Medicated baths (if prescribed)
